The stable, a Grade II listed building built in the eighteenth century, a U shaped block charaterised by a distinctive low tower in the centre of the building over the carriage entrance.
It has been altered during the nineteenth century and had been the subject of a variety of uses, the building has for the most part been out of use for a number of years and had been placed on the English Heritage Buildings at Risk Register.
Work will begin in the near future to re-establish the stable block to its former glory and will once again be an integral part of the house.
